Grilled Flatbread and Lemon Caesar Salad

Flatbread:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Roll of pizza dough. Either buy your favorite or make your own

  • Your favorite pizza sauce (we used organic Italian Roma sauce)

  • Your favorite shredded cheese (we used a mix of provolone, mozzarella as well as mozzarella balls)

  • Your favorite toppings. Below are the ingredients for the 3 flatbreads we made

  • Margarita: sauce, tomatoes on the vine, fresh basil leaves, mozzarella balls, drizzle of olive oil, your favorite spices

  • Meat: sauce, tomatoes on the vine, pepperoni (you can use whatever you want. Let your imagination roll), garlic (we used pickled), your favorite spices

  • Vegetarian: sauce, tomatoes on the vine, mushrooms, garlic (we used pickled), your favorite spices

Instructions:

  1. Halve the dough and roll on a floured surface, as thin as you wish.
  2. Add your pizza sauce
  3. Add your shredded cheese
  4. Top with your favorite toppings (depending on what you are wanting to make, the skies the limit)
  5. Cook at 375 for 8-12 minutes (we cooked on the Trager but you can use a grill or the oven)

Lemon Caesar Salad:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tbsp. minced garlic

  • 1/8 cup lemon juice

  • tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard

  • 2 egg yokes

  • 1 tsp. anchovy paste

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • Chopped Romaine lettuce

  • Croutons

  • Parmesan cheese

  • Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Mix the garlic and lemon juice and let it rest 10 minutes
  2. Add tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  3. 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard
  4. 2 egg yokes
  5. 1 tsp .anchovy paste
  6. 1/4 cup olive oil
  7. Mix well with fork
  8. Add in chopped Romaine lettuce
  9. Top with croutons, Parmesan cheese and pepper
